Community Service is a very important part of the mission and vision of GBA. It’s very important to our administration, faculty, parents, and board members that our students are given opportunities to serve others both around them and far away in mission fields. Annually Greater Boston Academy participates in our local Community Service program by preparing Thanksgiving baskets and stocking the food pantry shelves, students and staff also help out at the Topsfield Fair doing Health Surveys and passing out health information. Greater Boston Academy students also attend a yearly Service and Leadership conference every fall. During the conference they learn very important service techniques and participate in hands-on experiences to help them become better leaders and volunteers of service. Greater Boston Academy also organizes, fundraises for and plans various mission trips to help those in need in poverty stricken areas.
